Old
Glory Comes Home to the Intermediate School
Fifth graders at Spring Hill
Intermediate School were recently honored to raise a "new" U.S. flag
in front of the school. The flag had flown over Bagram Air Base in
Afghanistan earlier this year. It was sent from
student Jake Van Daele's cousin, who is serving there in the U.S.
Navy. Bryan Fields, Van Daele's cousin, shared the flag as a thank
you to the students in Marissa Cowan's class who had sent holiday
cards to Fields and others in his battalion. |
