Health & Dental
Qualifying Spring Hill School District employees and their families are eligible to participate in the district's health and dental insurance plans. Health insurance is provided by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City. In addition, dental insurance is provided by Delta Dental of Kansas.
Update:
The health insurance rates for 2012 will increase by 9.9% effective January 1st. The increase is a result of higher paid claims in combination with the rising cost of health care. This is the first rate increase in over 26 months. There are no plan design changes to any of the three district plan options.
Dental insurance rates will remain the same for calendar year 2012 and there will be no changes to the plan design.
