Social Studies Department Posts Excellent Scores

Spring Hill High School’s Social Studies Department remains strong in regard to the Kansas State Assessment. The department recently received a letter from the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) saying students scored high enough to meet the criteria to receive a Standard of Excellence, which the high school has earned every time the test has been taken. However, this score will not be official since KSDE canceled the assessment last year. Although not a formal score, KSDE acknowledged that SHHS scored “extremely well.”
