How many pizzas does it take to feed a pack of more than 400 hungry people? It takes more than 60 large pizzas! On August 26th, dads (and father figures) and their students gathered for the Watch D.O.G.S Kick Off, which included pizza for all. The event was a combined Spring Hill Elementary School and Spring Hill Intermediate School gathering, as a convenience for families with children in both schools. The kick off event gave dads an overview of the program, which promotes their involvement in the schools and gives students positive male role models. Dads also had the opportunity to order t-shirts and, most importantly, sign up for dates to come spend a day in school.
