Mrs. HollernSpecial Educator hollern@usd230.org
Hello!!
My name is Daneen Hollern. I
have worked for the Spring Hill School District for 22 years. I
am one of the teachers on staff who work with students with special needs.
My caseload this year covers kindergarten, first and second grades.
I moved back to the Special Education department in 2005.
Previous
to that I was a first grade teacher for 10 years, taught
one year of kindergarten, and before all that,
was a special educator
for the elementary school. I
am married and have three children. My
children and husband are all year round athletes, so I keep busy cheering
everyone on and being a taxi driver to games and practices.
My own hobbies include photography, reading, walking and spending
time with my family. I
have an Associates Degree from Allen County College, a Bachelors degree in
Education from Emporia State University and a Masters degree in Special
Education from the University of Kansas. I love learning, so I continue to
take college courses as I find opportunities to learn new skills.
