Hi everybody!

I am a first year teacher this year, but I did substitute last year and was awarded the Exemplary Substitute Award from Spring Hill.  I loved subbing here and I love being a teacher here even more!

Emporia State University is where I graduated from in 2008 with a Bachelor's in elementary education.  My fiancée Josh and I just bought our first house in Olathe.  We are having a great time making our house a home.  Our wedding is this summer and then my name will be Mrs. Poland.  Lots of changes this year!

My favorite thing to do in the whole world is spend time with my family and friends.  We could even just go to McDonald's, have an ice cream, and chat and I would love it.  I also like to scrapbook, read all kinds of books, and I have never turned down chocolate or ice cream.  Dessert is the best!
