My name is Marissa Cowan and I started teaching at Spring Hill Intermediate in 2008.  I previously taught nine years at Washington Elementary in Olathe, Kansas.  They all have been in the 5th grade!

I was born and raised in Kansas City North, Missouri.  I received my Bachelor's Degree from Baker University in 1999, and later received my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Emporia State University in 2002.

My husband, Terry, and I have lived in Spring Hill since 1999.  We have two daughters.  In my free time I love spending time with my family, gardening, and traveling anywhere I can!
