Hello!  

My name is Kimberly Demings and I am the music and band teacher here at Spring Hill Intermediate School.  I started teaching in Spring Hill in 2009 and I am looking forward to working with your student this year. 

I am a 2004 graduate of Pittsburg State University and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education.  At Pitt State, I participated in several activities including two choirs, the marching and concert bands, the opera program and various service organizations.  I am currently working on a Master’s degree in Choral Pedagogy at The University of Kansas. 

There is a lot in store for our students this year.  Our 5^th graders are getting their first chance to participate in band, our 4^th graders will be playing flutophones in the spring and all three of our grade levels will be presenting some fun and exciting vocal programs.
