Although I have lived in Spring Hill since 1996, I didn't start teaching in Spring Hill until 2004.  I began teaching Jumpstart Math, in 2009 I moved to Special Education.  Prior to the birth of my twin boys in 1997, I taught in 2 other school districts.  During that time I taught in both special education (K-5) and general education (1-3).

 

I graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a B.A. in elementary education and received my M.S. degree in special education from the University of Kansas.  GO JAYHAWKS!!

 

In addition to teaching, I try to keep up with my children's busy schedules, which include watching their many sports activities.  When there is any time left I love to read and scrapbook.  I also coach the 8th grade JV basketball team at the middle school.
