My husband and I recently moved back to Kansas from Durango, CO....as crazy as it sounds, it feels good to be home. My most recent teaching positions have been in a middle school setting, but I am loving the elementary level. What joy!

I have two daughters, both attending schools in Colorado(Boulder and Denver). I must admit that with two girls in school, the empty bank account takes more adjusting to than the empty nest.

I enjoy comedy (TV, movies, and clubs), music(rock, blues, and jazz), dancing (swing, leftover disco), and The Chiefs!

Favorite Musician: Bonnie Raitt.

Favorite comedian: Kathleen Madigan.

I love teaching Special Education and I must admit that each year I find that the kids teach me so much more than I could ever teach them.
